Ice cream is a universal favourite, and in the heat of Bangkok, it's easy to find a treat to cool you down. With 7/11 stores on almost every corner, your next ice cream fix is never far away.
In early 2024, we were commissioned by a UK-based marketing agency to produce videos for a Unilever marketing event in Bangkok. The campaign featured a 3D AR experience that allowed consumers to engage in an interactive ice cream hunt across the city.
To bring this vision to life, we captured multiple video angles and hundreds of images, which were then sent to an XR developer and interaction designer in Spain. Collaborating closely with the UK agency, we completed the project within two weeks.
During the production process, we revisited locations several times to capture every angle, perspective, and time of day needed for the 3D applications' development team to compile and process. All footage and images were promptly uploaded to cloud services on the same day of filming, ensuring smooth communication and alignment with the client’s brief.
The project was a success and is now fully operational online, allowing residents and visitors in Thailand to participate in Wall's Ice Cream Hunt using their smartphones.
